Colchester Secure Bike Park run by Colchester City Council rents out cargo bikes either by the day or medium-term to businesses. The New Town Bike Hub hires out cargo bikes for personal use, complete with a short induction course on how to ride them. Great if you’re moving heavy items from A to B. CO1 2HE or ///dangerously.flames.claim

The Outdoor Hire Centre has depots in Colchester (including the Roman Circus chariot racing track) and East Bergholt (halfway between Ipswich and Colchester, handy for Constable Country).
Colchester Cycle Stores and other bike shops may offer cycles for hire. Ring up and ask!
